On September 9, 2005, all of the Law Enforcement officers and Fire Fighters who lost their lives on 9/11/2001 at the World Trade Center or the Pentagon, were presented the Medal of Valor by President Bush  at the White House

Both Paul Jurgens and Tom Jurgens recived this award.  Many family members traveled to be there to honor Paul and Tom
